Amanda Hart









Amanda Hart has a B.F.A. in Dance from California Institute of the Arts. She began dancing at the age of 9 with the Sierra Performing Arts Center. She has won many awards within the competition community and made her first television appearance at Showstoppers, taking third place in Nationals. She was accepted into the Fresno Ballet Company and performed at L.J. William’s Theater, Saroyan Theater, University of Southern California, REDCAT, and Two Roads Theater. She has been involved with many stage and film productions in the Los Angeles area including San Diego Dance festival and the Key Club in Hollywood. She has taught at New World Dance, Garri Dance Studio, Temple City Dance Center, John Muir Middle School, and San Marino Montessori School. Amanda has training in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Pilates, Hip-Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Contemporary/Modern.

Colette Brandenburg








Colette Brandenburg graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a B.A. in International Affairs and French. She studied dance at the Michigan Ballet Theater, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater School, and Steps on Broadway. Her dance experience includes work with the Performing Arts World Championships, T. Schreiber Studios, Looking Glass Theater, Williamsburg Art Nexus, Brooklyn Dancewave, Theater of the Reflecting Pool, Am. College Dance Festival, Midwest Dance Theater, Michigan Ballet Theatre, and much more. She has studied Ballet, Pointe, Graham-based Modern, Horton-based Modern, Jazz, Tap, West African, Afro-Brazilian, Dunham, Yoga, Barre-a-Terre, Salsa, Meringue, and Hip-Hop. Her choreography has been featured throughout Los Angeles and New York. She is fluent in French and has experience in colorguard, acting, costume design, dance production, and video/sound editing.

Elliot Ryan Hobbs

Elliot received a scholarship from The Phoenix School of Ballet. He went on to study gymnastics and martial arts. He competed for Arizona State University and then in 1996 competed in the Olympic Trials. He most recently performed with Cirque De Soleil in Las Vegas.

Brianne Latthitham

Brianne Latthitham is studying Communications and Spanish at UCLA. She has been involved in dance since the age of 3, studying ballet and jazz as well as and training as a competitive gymnast at Gold Coast Gymnastics. At age 14, she began her formal instruction in ballet at All American Ballet under Clarissa Boeriu and Monica Galindo. She danced alongside AMD Director, Apphia Noel, at Camarillo Academy of Performing Arts.

Sandra Plazinic

Sandra graduated from the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and went on to perform with the company, along with the Bolschoi Ballet. This gave her the opportunity to work with renowned ballet master Rudolf Nureyev. She has taught throughout Europe and the United States. She was most recently in the films “Dance with me” and “Rumor has it”.

Victoria Brown








Victoria Brown graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Dance and a minor in Business. She studied at world-renowned Jacobs Pillow Intensive and interned at Broadway Dance Center. She was featured as a dancer in the Jacobs Pillow’s Inside Out as well as a soloist in Dances for Isadora at the University Dance Theater. She has most recently been featured as a background dancer for Full Time Villain and Jensen. She performed with the Dol Rae Music Tour, Spectrum Jazz Team, and American College Dance Festival. She has taught at Jensen School of Performing Arts, South Bay Dance Center, and International Dance Center. She was awarded the 2003 Showmanship Award and the 2005 Carol Ann Haws Award of Excellence in Performance. She has training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Composition.

Jia Taylor










Jia Taylor holds a B.S. from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is an accomplished actress, singer, and dancer. She has performed for several regional theaters across the country including the Alley Theater, Houston's Theater Under the Stars and the St. Louis Black Repertory. She appeared in such productions as Dreamgirls; I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; Anything Goes; and Hair to name a few. She has also been featured in several films including "The Maestro", "The Waiter (starring Glenn Morshower) and "Bill" (starring Jessica Alba and Aaron Eckhart). In addition to performing, Jia has taught music, theatre, and dance for various educational programs in Houston, Texas including The Alley Theatre Young Performer Studio, Main Street Theater’s Kids on Stage, Express Children’s Theatre Education Program, The Ensemble Theatre Young Performers Program, and for several Houston Independent School District after-school program.

Stephanie Howell





Stephanie Howell graduated from Desales University with a B.A. in Dance and has studied with some of the country’s leading dance instructors at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York. She has seven years of teaching experience at Kicks Academy of Dance in Pennyslvania working with students of all ages. She has also taught at Dance Dynamics, YMCA/YWCA, and choreographed for Layman Playman Community Theater. She has received choreography awards from Dance Explosion Competition, NYC Dance Alliance Competition, and Hollywood Vibe Competition. She is recognized throughout the East Coast for her excellent choreography. Stephanie has training in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, and Modern.

Brad J. Hubisz







Brad Hubisz holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Musicand a Master of Music degree specializing in Choral Conducting from Azusa Pacific University. He also studied private piano, composition, and vocal performance under Jonathan Bass and Rodney Lister at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School where he was awarded the composition Department Award and Theory Department Award. Brad has sung with APU Chamber Singers and recitals at Alfred Newman Hall, USC Madrigal Chorus, USC Studio Vocal Jazz, and USC Concert Choir. He performed for Barbra Streisand and the 2001 Emmy Awards. He’s held such positions as worship leader, pianist, vocalists, and assistant music director throughout California and Massachusetts.

Deborah Stoll

Deborah attended Julliard preparatory school and performed with the NYC Opera’s children’s chorus. She has performed a number of solo s including The French National Anthem at Madison Square Garden in NYC. She trained and performed the role of Eponine in Les Miserables on Broadway.

Donato McDermott




Donato McDermott graduated from the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles where he studied guitar, specializing in technique, sight reading, and theory. He has studied and performed classical guitar and piano in Riverside under Dr. Peter Curtis. Donato teaches at the Riverside Valley Music Academy as the Head Guitar Instructor as well as at Coast Music Conservatory. He worked as a music theory and piano tutor at Riverside Community College teaching music concepts of harmony and voice leading. His areas of expertise include guitar, music theory, voice, and piano.

Tressa Thomas

Tressa holds a BA from Columbia College Chicago. She was featured soloist on the soundtrack for the movie “The Five Heartbeats”. She also played the singing role of Ruth Brown in NBC’S made for TV movie “The Little Richard Story”. Tressa has shared stages with Patti LaBelle, Gladys Night, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick and Run DMC just to name a few.

Apphia Noel
& Jesse Noel




At the age of twelve Apphia Laune accepted the prestigious Ford Foundation Scholarship to study at the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet. She lived in Lincoln Center, at Julliard, and was able to study with world renowned dance masters Suki Shorer, Susan Pilarre, and Antonia Tumkovsky. After two years of study at the School of American Ballet she accepted a full scholarship with the San Francisco Ballet School, the official school of the San Francisco Ballet, and at age 15 became an apprentice of the company. She danced hundreds of performances at the San Francisco Opera House as well as toured with the company for three years. Apphia has danced all of the classics as well as many modern pieces choreographed by Mark Morris and Alonzo King. In addition to her successful ballet career, Apphia has danced and choreographed with over 25 local and national dance companies.

Currently, Apphia is the Artistic Director at the Academy of Music & Dance. Apphia loves to teach and hopes to convey to every student her enthusiasm and love of the arts.
