Modern Dance Classes in Pasadena CA
This class focuses on the basic Modern and Contemporary Dance Techniques. Students will learn modern and contemporary dance vocabulary, and basic axial center techniques (changes in balance, and discover improvisational choreography.

It uses the gracefulness and control of ballet, but incorporates the limitless creativity of body movement. Very liberating and soothing to a dancer’s soul and mind. Many students in this class are members of Pasadena Academy’s Contemporary Dance Company and Competition Teams.

About our Combination Dance Programs...
These Classes range in length from 45 minutes to 2 hours long, depending on the level and age of the student. Combination classes can include any of the following forms of dance: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop.

About our Pre Dance Classes...
Academy of Music and Dance offers classes for ages 2-5 in: Ballet, Tap, Combination Classes, Hip-Hop, and Acrobatics! All will perform in the End of the Year show with costumes, lights… the WHOLE SHEBANG!

About our Music Lessons...
Academy of Music and Dance offers Group Musical Theatre Classes, Group Pop Star Classes, Private Voice Lessons, Private Guitar, Piano, and Drum Lessons. Now we have acting classes, scene study, and theatre classes.
